Prabhsimran’s century give Jalandhar 3-run win over Bathinda Royals

Jalandhar Warriors secured a three-run victory over Bathinda Royals in a last-ball finish during the Mankind Pharma Sher-e-Punjab T20 League 2026, powered by Punjab Kings, at the IS Bindra Stadium.

Batting first, Jalandhar posted 205 in 19.3 overs, propelled by captain Prabhsimran Singh, who smashed his second consecutive century. After the Warriors slipped to 62/3, Prabhsimran and Aryan Yadav (39 off 19) added 118 runs for the fourth wicket to revive the innings.

Bathinda pacer Ashwani Kumar delivered a standout bowling performance, claiming the tournament’s first hat-trick. He finished with figures of 4/35.

Chasing a target of 206, Bathinda began steadily. But, the match went down to the wire as Bathinda required 18 runs from the final over. They lost Sandhu on the first delivery before Saharan struck a six and a four, only to be trapped lbw for 86 on the penultimate ball.

Following a wide, Bathinda needed five runs off the final delivery, but Ashwini managed only two, allowing Jalandhar to seal the win.
